19-year-old Briton survives balcony fall

Palma.—Apparently, the young man had only landed on the island at the beginning of his holidays just hours before he fell from his third floor balcony.
According to emergency and police sources, the 19-year-old, who has been identified as Jack R.S., had been out drinking in Punta Ballena with a group of friends.
They returned to the block of apartments in which they are staying just off The Strip just before 6am and it appears that the teenager tried to jump from one balcony to another.
However, he lost his balance and fell.
