Palma.—Shorter holidays to reduce costs. That seems to be the motto of the majority of Spanish nationals heading on a summer holiday this year according to a recent poll by an insurance website.
Over 90 percent of those polled said they would be cutting down on a few privileges in order to enjoy a summer break. Out of those, 39 percent said the duration of the holidays would be their number one measure.
Reducing the costs of accommodation, eating out fewer times and choosing a destination within Spain were the other reasons given.
