Palma.—The person responsible for last Friday night’s shoot out with police in Sa Pobla was yesterday ordered to be held on remand in jail after bail was denied.
Francisco C.B. opened fire on police with a shotgun after barricading himself into his home with his wife, who he is suspected of having physically abused, before opening fire on the security services.
He was eventually over powered and arrested after having exchanged fire with the police. He faces a charge of attempted murder.
