In total, 193,439 litres of recognised Majorcan olive oil was sold overseas during 2014, the largest amount since the Denominación de Origen was created in 2002, the Minister said during a presentation of Oli Novell oil in Palma.
The biggest surge in demand has been in the European Union market.
