Palma.—The National Police yesterday completed two operations which have led to the arrests of three men suspected of being responsible for a spate of hold ups.
According to the National Police, the three Spanish nationals aged 23, 29 and 40, held up two gambling arcades and a private property in Palma.
The investigation was launched back in September when one of the trio robbed an arcade in calle Eusebio Estada in Palma in the early hours of the morning.
He was wearing a ski mask and was armed with a pistol and the lone member of staff was ordered, at gun point, to empty out the cash from the gambling machines.
