The municipality of Santa Maria has been declared the official host of WineDays 2015.
The annual  event celebrating the region’s wine  tradition, is  in to  its second edition.
This year Santa Maria will be the centre of all activities planned between 2 and 10 May by local vineyards and producers  and the councils involved are helping to  promote local wines and invite tourists interested in wines  to visit the region. “We want to use our local wine as the main attraction for visitors,” Margalida Amat from Binissalem’s Denomination of Origin Council confirmed yesterday.
“Wine is an important part of our artistic, social and cultural history,” Santa Maria’s Mayor Rosa Vich added.
