HM Passport Office has started to introduce passports that will no longer include the holders' signatures in digital format. Instead passport holders are required to sign their passports after they have been issued to them.

Richard Pearson, "If they can´t get it right, then they shouldn´t be allowed to leave their living rooms, let alone the country." - Why shouldn't they? Does leaving the country require people to sign a lot of signatures correctly. What a stupid comment!

Oh dear - after waiting a month for the all-important passport to arrive just before you fly, the ink blobs or you make a mess of your signature. What then? Another wait of several weeks and a cancellation of your trip? A disaster waiting to happen! Of course most people WILL get it right BUT not all.
