A 12-year-old French boy has drowned while diving in Portinatx, Ibiza.

The boy and his parents were out on a boat. While the adults were spearfishing, he was diving near a rocky area. He didn't have a cylinder.

It would appear that a belt on his wetsuit caught on a rock. He was brought to the surface, but attempts to revive him were in vain.
