Video footage has emerged of a dramatic rescue of a woman from her vehicle in flood water in Minorca.

The woman's vehicle became trapped after heavy rains hit the island on Tuesday. Fire officers used a tractor to reach the woman and then guided her free. She escaped without injury.

The emergency services answered more than 100 distress calls following the heavy rains on Tuesday.
