The Balearic Ministry of Health reported 1,518 new cases of Covid over the last 24 hours, according to figures this morning.

There are fears that there might be a big rise in the number of cases over the next 48 hours as a result of the New Year celebrations. According to some reports there could be as many as 4,000 new cases per day over the coming days.
