Hundreds of people took part in a peace vigil in the Plaza Cort this evening calling for an end to the war in the Ukraine.

Many of those attending were dressed in the colours of Ukraine and carried placards calling for peace and the end of the Putin regine in Russia.

The vigil had been organised by the Palma city council and organisers estimated that up to 2,000 people had taken part.
