Tour operators and online websites are forecasting a bumper season in Playa de Palma with figures similar to 2019.

A combination of last-minute bookings and short stays will put Playa de Palma in a good position compared to its Mediterranean competitors, according to a debate organised by the Hoteliers Association of Playa de Palma, called 'Perspectives 2022 and Next Horizons’.

Representatives from Illa Beach Hotels, Der Touristik Group, Schaunisland Reisen and Tui Musement, Booking.com, Management Turístico, Dingus and Logitravel.com, took part in the event.

AHPP President, Isabel Vidal, said the conference with tour operators and online websites had been planned for some time, to determine how Mallorca had reacted to the coronavirus crisis.
