I went to my local clinic with respiratory problems 29 Feb. Was thoroughly examined, given oxygen and asked to go to Son Espases for further diagnosis/treatment. They arranged for an ambulance and arrived at Son Espases by 14.00 hrs.

After undergoing many examinations and tests I was eventually asked to stay ‘for a couple of days'. I was in a bed by 16.00 hrs. and discharged after 4 days of medication and caring attention, feeling 100% better but asked to return should I have further problems. Throughout this period I was treated with great care and attention by all. The staff are of course extremely busy but always had that extra moment to ensure that all was well with me and their general demeanour was always cheerful and charming. I read the editor's viewpoint in the Daily Bulletin today, 6 March. What a difference! I can only say a huge thank you to my local clinic and of course Son Espases who can still offer such an excellent service despite the financial cutbacks.
