The Puerto Pollensa military aerodrome will open its doors on Saturday 30th from 10am to 2pm so that the public can enjoy the Wings & Wheels exhibition.
This is an exhibition of more than seventy vintage cars provided by the Club de Cotxes Antics de Mallorca, which will also feature a seaplane that will make some passes and water releases.
To gain access to the event, visitors will be able to enter on foot and will only need to show their ID card. It will therefore be a great opportunity for all families interested in learning more about the historic vehicles that the Club de Cotxes Antics will bring to the base, as well as discovering the important work being done for the prevention of fires.
In recent months, the Puerto Pollensa military airfield has been the setting for events open to the public. In fact, Colonel Alberto Sevilla Seguí, head of the base and a Pollença native, has shown his interest in holding this type of event to make the facilities better known among the population. In August, he met with the mayor of Pollensa, Martí March, to collaborate between the two institutions in this regard.
