The International Disc Fair is a celebration of vinyl, CDs, and pop and rock memorabilia.

The 21st fair in Mallorca will feature some forty stands, with exhibitors from Spain, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and the US. A nostalgia trip it is, but the fair highlights the huge interest there is in the LP and the single and in an aesthetic appeal in terms of packaging that has been all but lost in the download era.

The organisers have said in the past that the heaviest demand among collectors is for classic albums by the likes of Pink Floyd and David Bowie. The fair is now also gradually attracting a younger audience by integrating urban music, but certain live acts who will be appearing hint at days gone by.

On Saturday there will be Kiss Experience, a tribute to the shock-rock band Kiss from the 1970s (and who are themselves still going). On the Sunday, and all the way from the Scotland, it will be the current incarnation of new-wave/punk band The Rezillos, who originally formed in 1976.
