British band Temples headlining another Mallorca festival

Most publicity for Mallorca’s music festivals is rightly given to the Mallorca Live Festival in Magalluf.

But this can tend to detract attention away from other festivals, one of them being the Mobo Fest. To be held in Porreres this summer, one of the headlining acts was at the Magalluf festival in 2022.

Temples are from Kettering. They formed in 2012 and their debut album ‘Sun Structures’, released in 2014, reached number seven in the UK charts. They are what can be best described as psychedelic rock and they have the appearance of a band from the original heyday of psychedelia in the late ‘60s - the Pink Floyd, most obviously. Their material has been released on independent labels such as Heavenly, and the Mobo Fest is all about highlighting indie music both locally and internationally.
