Cirko are a Mallorcan band who were formed in 2017 and have become well established on the island's fiestas scene for their unique brand of amalgamating circus and music.
This amalgamation is essentially a circus parody, revealed by their costumes and audience participation. The music ranges from The Beatles to ska to Catalan rumba.
On Friday night, Cirko are headlining a party to celebrate the fifteenth Pollensa Half Marathon. This is on Sunday, starting from the sports centre at 9.30am and heading to Puerto Pollensa before coming back. This is an event that has had its issues in the past, specifically a lack of police because of disagreements to do with overtime working. Those issues now appear to have been settled.
