The Alternatilla Jazz Festival, which has established itself as a welcome feature of Mallorca's music scene in the low season, is returning for its seventh season.

As is the case each year, there is an invited country. For 2023 this is Belgium, and so some of the concerts will feature all Belgian musicians, which will be the case on December 5, when the Brussels Jazz Orchestra will be performing with singer Tutu Puoane.

From Antwerp but with South African roots, Tutu Puoane is one of Belgium's premier jazz artists.

She has seven albums to her name and has worked with the orchestra on a number of occasions, notably on the 2018 album, 'We Have a Dream'. Bringing together songs from different musical genres, there are themes of human rights and the struggle for justice, equality and freedom.

We Have a Dream is the title of their concert for the jazz festival.
