Deadletter started life as a three-piece band in Yorkshire.

On moving to London, they expanded to a six-piece, became one of the most exciting live acts on what is generically referred to as the post-punk scene and were promoted on the BBC Introducing stage at the Leeds and Reading festivals.

Two guitars, bass, drums, sax and vocalist, they have caused sufficient stir in the UK to now be attracting European interest.

The Sons de Nit 2023 season brings them to Mallorca in June, when they will be supported by Black Sea Deluge, a Palma-based two-piece of Gareth Hall (guitar and vocals) and Gurri on drums, who make a heck of a good noise despite the fact there are just the two of them.

The concert in Pollensa was originally scheduled for June but had to be put back at Deadletter’s request.
