Barry White (aka The Walrus of Love), Donna Summer, The Bee Gees - just some of the legends of disco whose music features in a show that is based on the musical movement at New York's legendary Studio 54 nightclub.

Described as the biggest and number one disco show in the world, Saturday Night Disco relives the heyday of disco that coincided with Studio 54's comparatively brief existence as a nightclub (it's been a theatre since the late 1990s).

It opened as a disco club in 1977, the same year that the film 'Saturday Night Fever' was released. All manner of problems came to dog its existence - investigation into tax fraud (with convictions), breaches of licences, allegations of the pushing of drugs, general dilapidation.

But there was the music, and Studio 54 was, for a time, in the vanguard of club music. Before, that is, Europe took over, and Ibiza in particular in the mid-1980s.
