Platja de Palma is the biggest piece of coast of the capital of the Balearic archipelago (4,6 kilometres long, divided into 15 beaches), situated 14 kilometres east from this town, although the last part belongs to the municipality of Llucmajor.

The coast has fine-grained sand and gentle slope, which makes bathing easier for small children. The nearest port facilities are located at Club Nàutic s'Arenal, at 2,5 nautical miles toward west.

This beach is the best example for mass tourism of Mallorca, with a very high occupancy and the gathering of thousands of tourists and residents. The accessibility by car is easy. There is no parking area for private cars next to the coast. This is why we recommend the public transport, the nearest bus stop is located at 50 metres.
