TO the Balearic government for doing nothing to encourage more winter tourists to the island. It is clearly evident by the deserted streets of Palma at night that you can count the number of winter tourists on a single hand. I have never seen the city so quiet with local residents watching their pennies and staying away and foreign tourists going elsewhere. There is much more to this island than just the sun and the beach so lets promote Majorca in the winter, please.
