TO the Balearic government and the Palma city council for giving the green light for shops, restaurants and tourists attractions to open on a Sunday. From April, to coincide with the start of the cruise ship season shops will be allowed to open when they like. During this key period Palma is visited by at least four cruise ships, almost every Sunday. The Bulletin has been campaigning for more flexible shop open hours for many years. At last someone appears to have been listening!
