IF I were Sra. Najera having endured the past two years of persecution, accusations/counter-accusations and defamation of character, I would welcome with open arms a one-to-one, face to face, public debate with Sr. Delgado.

I would consider it to be the erfect place, once and for all, to clear my name and to be exonerated by, not only Sr. Delgado and his party, but more importantly, by the citizens/electorate of Calvia, who supported me during my years of office and who were instrumental in my becoming mayoress.

Failure to agree to a debate only leads to the electorate believing that Sr. Delgado's accusations are true, adn that there really is something to hide.
