...for signs that bankers and other City figures are making a return to Britain's bi-annual Honours lists. The individuals concerned may be fully deserving of recognition but there is a strong argument for excluding them as a class since there seems no other way of delivering the message that the public-at-large is disappointed and in some cases disgusted with the way in which bankers have taken public help to survive and then proceeded on a business as usual basis. Rough justice, perhaps, but what other form of justice is available?
