Dear Sir, A COUPLE of weeks ago my wife and I visited the Palma Boat Show, with compliments of Fairline Boats. We found the show to be excellent and a most enjoyable half day out. We parked our car in the Parc del Mar Car Park and as we were early and it was a lovely morning we decided to have a coffee in the bar located by the lake and looking towards the Cathedral. We expected to pay a premium for the view but the actual charge was totally unacceptable: 3.15 euros for just one coffee and it was not a particularly good one either! The cost of a tonic water was equally exorbitant. I think this example illustrates your point (about pricing) exactly and will certainly affect tourists decision as to whether to return to Majorca or visit a different destination where the prices are more acceptable.
