MY wife and I have read with interest your articles about flights from England to Majorca. We have a house on the island and travel at least 6 times a year.

Are you aware of the ridiculous situation if you live in the Midlands with no flights from Birmingham (or East Midlands) over the winter last year and this year.

Birmingham is one of the larger provincial Airports with many flights during the Summer with Monarch, BMI Baby, Thomson and Ryanair.
What can be done as there would be plenty of business for at least one Airline.
