Keeping to a promise

Dear Sir, WHATEVER next? A politician that lives up to his word! I am, of course referring to Carlos Delgado, the Party Popular mayor of Calvia, who's just announced that, for the third year running, there will be a reduction in property tax and thus achieving his party's promise of a 20 percent reduction of this tax in four years. Calvia residents will do well to remember this responsible money management compared with the fiscal bulimia of the previous PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers Party) spendthrift council when the municipal elections roll around next Spring.
