By Jason Moore IF I had a euro for every person who has given me his or her opinion on Paul Davidson buying Real Mallorca, I would be able to buy the club myself! What I don´t understand is that with so many people having an opinion on the sale, why is the ground half-empty on match days? There is obviously a major interest in the club so why aren´t more people going to support their local team? Of course, it would be better if Mallorca remained in Majorcan hands but no Majorcan is willing to buy the club. Thankfully, for the sake of Real Mallorca Football Club an Englishman is prepared to pay 38 million euros and leaving it under the chairmanship of a Majorcan, in this case Vicente Grande. The last four months have been hard for Real Mallorca and there now looks as if there is light at the end of the tunnel with Paul Davidson becoming the new owner. A new era is just about to start so the time has come for the people of Majorca to get behind their team. Forget Barcelona and Real Madrid if you live here you should support your local team. Real Mallorca is going to need plenty of help in the coming months. Everyone has an opinion on the sale and it would be nice to see all these people at the next home match giving their full support to the team.
