FOLLOWING the sale of GB Airways to Easyjet last week, it looks like there will be no more business class seats to the Balearics from the UK when next year's summer timetable begins in April.
GB Airways was also one of the last airlines to still offer a full meal and drink service included in the ticket price and they did not impose all these annoying extra charges for luggage, seat requests etc.
Being disabled, I appreciated the extra room in business class and if you booked early enough it was not that much more than economy.
If the islands want to attract more high spending tourists they have to try and persuade another airline to offer this service.
