King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain will be in Majorca next week, on a special visit to the Balearic University on Wednesday, at the invitation of the Rector Llorenc Huguet. The visit comes in response to the great interest the King and Queen have always shown in the University's development during meetings with Huguet over the summer, when the royal family spends its holidays on the island, and Wednesday's visit will be the royals' first to the campus which is just outside Palma. The University was last year visited by Prince Felipe, who attended a three-day Club Ultima Hora conference held at the campus.
