The victim, aged 29, is still in the intensive care unit of a Palma hospital, with serious head and facial injuries. Police sources said her condition was still serious but her life is not in danger. The alleged aggressor initially refused to make a statement to the judge, Antoni Garcias, however he later agreed to give his version. Yesterday the judge contacted the hospital to verify the extent of the woman's injuries.
