Luis Aragones is boosted by the fact that midfielder Marcos Martín returns from suspension for Sunday's league match at Malaga, but is hit by the loss of striker Samuel Eto'o and the continued absence of Ariel Ibagaza. Eto'o is suspended after seeing red during Wednesday's highly charged Copa del Rey match against Celta, which Mallorca won 2-1. The Cameroon international's cynical challenge fully deserved the sending off. Despite the victory Mallorca fail to qualify for the semi-finals after losing the first leg 3-1. The injured Ibagaza was sorely missed on Wednesday, as will he be on Sunday. The tiny Argentine has been Mallorca's most creative player throughout the season as well as having seven goals to his name. Mallorca officials yesterday confirmed that two Mallorca fans had been detained by police after Wednesday's match for throwing objects at an official Celta car. Although a bottle and a stone were thrown at the car there was no damage reported.
