Yesterday at midday on Paseo Sagrera in Palma, the leader of the local government, Francesc Antich, presided over a silent vigil in memory of the thousands of victims of Tuesday's horrendous terrorist attacks in the United States. The atrocities carried out in the United States has left the whole world in absolute shock and disbelief and Palma is no different. Yesterday, the city showed its solidarity with the victims. More than 100 people took part in the event including many local officials and city residents.
