LORD Andrew Lloyd Webber, the British theatre empresario, has gone on a spending spree in Majorca and looks set to complete the purchase of two properties in Deya this month. Webber, whose hit plays have included The Phanton of the Opera, Cats, and Jesus Christ Super-star is paying an undisclosed sum for a holiday home for himself and another house for visiting guests. Webber is believed to have visited the island earlier this year and was taken with the village, which was home to Robert Graves. His neighbours will include Catherine Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas and Annie Lennox who all live within a 10 mile radius.
