Staff Reporter ONE of the best Record Fairs in Europe opens tomorrow in Palma and will this year count on star performances by International groups, such as Juliette & The Licks and The Straitjackets, alongside popular local bands.

Two stages at the Trade Fair Centre will host up to 18 live concerts tomorrow and Sunday. Juliette Lewis will lead her band on Saturday night at 9pm, a day also when the Galician group Dakidarria and the progressive rock group Maquina will perform.

Besides the concerts, there will also be over 100 stands exhibiting everything of a musical nature from comics to instruments.
The sixth anniversary of the Record Fair will also host concerts by Steve Wynn and The Miracle 3 and The Straitjackets on Sunday night. Steve Wynn has helped define some of the best alternative rock music in the last two decades and is sure to rock the audience Sunday night.

Residents will be spoilt for musical choice tomorrow night, as the popular jazz group Kool & The Gang will be live in concert on Saturday night in the Gran Casino.
