PROCEEDS from the final Robert Winsor Charity Golf Day will be distributed at a special presentation in Bendinat next month.
This year's celebrity event, which has become one of the biggest fund-raisers in Europe, collected a staggering 234'000 euros for under-privileged children in the Balearics. It culminates in a presentation at the Lindner Golf & Wellness Resort on November 3.

Stars from the world of entertainment, sport and television joined Robert and golfers from around the island for the tournament at Royal Bendinat in May.

This was followed by a cabaret and presentation dinner to complete the amount of cash raised for the good causes. Now, over 70 handicapped and under-privileged children will receive wheelchairs, shower beds, walking machines, special cranes, communicators and many other items that will considerably improve the quality of their lives. Two more specially-adapted buses fitted with hydraulic platforms enabling special needs children to travel to school in the comfort and safety of their wheelchairs will also be handed over.
