QUEEN'S College in Genova was gripped by Christmas spirit yesterday afternoon when the school held its annual festive fair.
Raffles, book stalls, stands laden with home made cakes and other delicacies, including hot dogs, and stalls selling Christmas hamper and decorations were laid out all over the college grounds as hundreds of pupils and their parents gathered for the Christmas party as the chart-topping Xmas hits added to the atmosphere.

There was a bouncy castle for the younger ones as well as face painting which proved a huge hit, especially with their parents as their children reappeared looking like Spiderman or one of his contemporary super heroes.

The plant stand encouraged people to purchase one and invest in the future of the planet while there was also a beauty parlour, offering handy tips on how to look like Rudolph, set up next to a vast and impressive exhibition of art created by some of the students. For the more energetic, various challenges were offered in the sports ground.
