THE Queen, Doña Sofía, will be attending Easter Sunday Mass at Palma Cathedral today with her son, Crown Prince Felipe, his wife Doña Letizia, their daughters, Leonor and Sofía, and the Infantas Elena and Cristina, royal household sources confirmed yesterday.
The same sources said that the King, Don Juan Carlos will be remaining in Madrid this Easter, preparing for the state visit of the Emir of Qatar and his wife.
The Bishop of Majorca, Jesús Murgui will be taking the service from 12 noon, the regional Diocese said.
The Queen was once again the first member of the royal household to come to Majorca for the Easter holidays. She attended a performance of Mozart's Requiem Mass held in Palma cathedral last Tuesday in age of drug rehabilitation charity Proyecto Hombre.
The Queen was accompanied on the occasion by her sister, Princess Irene of Greece (pictured centre).
