The Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Borrego, believes that the Balearics will benefit from the Arab Spring/Winter again this year and that all of the British tour operators have indicated to her that they expect the Balearics to be the top destination.

But, she warned that the Balearics can not afford to rest on its laurels and must ensure that these “tourists on loan”, as she referred to those who have opted for the Balearics because of the troubles in North African and the Middle East, are treated with the maximum care and respect so that the Balearics earns their loyalty and encourages them to return next year.
