Endavant (OSAN), the movement behind the Majorca in Catalan campaign yesterday launched a scathing attack on the Balearic government for its official down grading of Catalan this week.
In an official statement, the organisation accused the PP of being the enemy of Catalan and being the most capitalist pro-Spanish group of PP MPs ever. They have insulted every one in Majorca, the organisation added.
But, the PP may have passed the new Public Service Law which no longer makes Catalan a requisite for being a civil servant, Endavant have not given up their fight and yesterday they called on the general public to take to the streets in defence of the Catalan language which is a vital part of the island's culture and heritage because trying to talk to and reach any kind of deal with the PP is impossible.
