Palma.Letizia Ortiz, wife of Crown Prince Felipe, celebrated her 40th birthday with her family yesterday, after showing for eight years as Princess of Asturias an active commitment to helping children and young people. Regular visitors to Majorca, education, the fight against painful illnesses, scientific research, aid for entrepreneurs and support for the disabled are among the many other causes of the former journalist who left her profession to marry the heir to the throne.
