THIS evening, the Alumni and Friends of American Universities Association of Majorca will host a reception to celebrate the US Presidential Inauguration from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Rocamar Restaurant in Portixol. American expatriates and friends are invited to attend. Rocamar will offer a special menu for those who wish to stay for dinner after the reception.

Created to bring together former graduates of American universities who reside on the island, the association has been the meeting point for many throughout the years. Founded and chaired by University of Wisconsin graduate Jean Pierce, the association has sought to serve as a link for expatriates with their new community.
