A FILM documentary on the Majorcan olive oil industry, commissioned by the regional Environment ministry and produced by audiovisual company “Inproduction” is to be screened around Europe through one of the world's most important tourism channels, “The Travel Channel.” A spokesman for the Environment ministry said yesterday that the documentary which was presented earlier in the day by Agriculture and Fisheries Minister, Merce Amer, will be available in DVD form and narrated in four languages: Castillian Spanish, Catalan, German and English. The documentary “Or Liquid” (liquid gold), said the spokesman was produced for Agriculture and Fisheries with the help of the trademark organisation representing pure Majorcan olive oil, also aided by Soller Town Council and establishments linked to rural tourism such as the Hotel Son Vida and the Gran Hotel in Soller.
