THE Balearic day celebrations continued in Palma yesterday with hordes of people enjoying the wide range of events and activities.
One of the main attractions was the traditional Balearic market along the Passeig Sagrera and in the Plaça de la Drasana near the Consolat del Mar government headquarters, just along from La Lonja.

There was a host of local products for tasting and for sale while folk dancers, clowns and jugglers provided live entertainment throughout the day.
The Consolat del Mar was also open for tours and there were long queues with many people also wanting to see the exhibition of Chopin-inspired paintings by 52 young artists.

But, in the Parc de la Mar there were numerous sporting activities organised for the children and last night there was live music in La Lonja with the festivities set to continue today and tomorrow.
