By Staff Reporter WITHIN a matter of minutes yesterday Bulletin readers snapped up the free tickets we were offering for the last day of the Majorca Classic Car Rally which starts in Palma on Thursday. Our give-away was so successful that we had to ask rally organisers for more tickets and thankfully they duly obliged. So in the end we gave away 20 free tickets to Bulletin subscribers instead of the initial 10.

The Bulletin subscribers department said yesterday “this has been another successful ticket give-away and it clearly shows that it pays to subscribe to the Bulletin. Over the last few months we have given away scores of free tickets to island events to our subscribers including the Classic Car Rally, the Simply Red concert in the bullring along with cinema and soccer tickets.” The Classic Car Rally has attracted entries from across Europe and on Saturday the grand finale takes place at the racetrack near Llucmajor.
