Portixol accident causes traffic chaos

PALMA
AN EMT Palma public bus collided with a set of traffic lights at the Portixol junction in front of the old GESA building yesterday while trying to avoid an oncoming vehicle which was apparently over taking another bus which was picking up passengers.

Four people suffered minor injuries but traffic was brought to a near stand still causing long tail backs along the Paseo Maritimo while emergency services dealt with the incident .
