Mancor to hold island's first “charity day”

PALMA
MANCOR del Vall will be hosting Majorca's first “Solidarity day” later this month.
The day long fund raising drive is going to be held on March 29 at the village sports centre.
Sponsored by the Council of Majorca, funds raised will be donated to Proyecto Hombre, the drug rehabilitation and retraining foundation of which Queen Sofia of Spain is the President, and ASPANOB - the Balearic Association for Parents of Children with cancer.

A host of local celebrities will be participating.
