A warehouse on the Ses Vales industrial estate at Son Reus was the victim of the second industrial fire in less than a week yesterday.
The blaze broke out at 3pm on the estate along the Soller road and fire brigade sources said that the warehouse was stocked with tyres and wood which created a huge cloud of thick black smoke. Fire fighters wearing special breathing apparatus battled the fire for most of the afternoon until it was brought under control by 6pm.
