THE Majorca expedition which failed to conquer Everest last year embark on a fresh attempt on April 1.
The Majorcan climbers, hoping to become the first Majorcans to conquer the world's highest mountain, may have been forced back by poor weather and a number of unfortunate mishaps last year, but it was an important learning experience for the team which has been preparing hard over the winter. Yesterday, climber Tolo Quetglas underwent a strength and stamina test at the Council of Majorca's state-of-the-art sports institute.
